Redbank Road Redcliffe Street History



Redbank Road in Redcliffe street History:

Charles Anning was a prosperous West Queensland grazier who retired to Redcliffe in 1940. This street is named after "Redbank Plains" one of the Annings properties north of Prairie in North Queensland.

Charles and his family lived at 24 Prince Edward Parade until he passed in 1971.

Politician Fraser Anning was born in 1949 and boarded at De La Salle College in Scarborough.
